The XCENTRIC SCREENER is a high-performance screening bucket that rotates like a trommel. Its production integrates various technologies that enhance traditional screening:
Polygonal Trommel
The 12-sided polygonal trommel efficiently shakes the material inside. The longer trommel compared to other screens provides a larger screening area and increases operating time per cycle. This is made possible by the diameter of the main bearing that allows the size of the trommel. The hexagonal profile of the screen mesh provides maximum efficiency and more homogeneous screening. Standard mesh sizes are available in openings of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 80 mm.
Timing Belt Transmission
The transmission between the main hydraulic motor and the trommel is achieved with a timing belt. This belt structure requires no maintenance and can transmit high torque periodically.
Power Boost
The Powerboost system applies vibration while the trommel rotates, significantly increasing production. This high-frequency, low-amplitude vibration does not affect the mechanical components of the Xcentric Screener or the excavator. The Xcentric Screener can be supplied without the Powerboost option and can be prepared for installation later.
